alled "an architect of transformation" by his peers, Jim Benson has dedicated his life to helping others reach their full potential. He has participated in and facilitated men’s groups for the last 19 years, including the most established David Deida-based men’s group in the Bay area. Jim started the Awakened Masculine program in 2003 as a way to help men make positive, lasting changes in their lives.
Jim has been coaching men since 1998, and has over 1250 hours of individual, relationship and group coaching experience. He received his training as a professional coach from the Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, CA, and is an applicant for the PCC (Professional Certified Coach) credential. Jim has also co-authored two books (on graphic design) and is a former world champion professional athlete (frisbee freestyle).
The Awakened Masculine ongoing group in Marin county opens to new members on Wednesday evening, April 21, 2010. The group meets weekly in San Rafael and is limited to 10 men to insure individual attention. Read more about the 2010 program here.
